During processing, our charcoal goes through a sifter which insures no small charcoal chunks or fines enter our bags. These charcoal fines are 100% pure, with a high carbon content. They have a multitude of uses from Ph balancing, an alternative to bio-mass fuel, filtering, compressed briquettes, etc. The small lump pieces range in size from 1/4″ to 1/2″ in width with fines being classified as anything under 1/4″.
